Trailers of Midnight Club LA

Rockstar released these three trailers of Midnight Club: Los Angeles, to be released in October on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Don't forget to watch the gameplay video from GC we posted here earlier if you haven't, the game looks pretty impressive. The first trailer is just an English version of one we had up earlier, but the other two should be new.

EA released this great trailer of Skate 2, which will be released in March on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Not much has been revealed about the game unfortunately, but at least it looks promising.

The First 10 Minutes: Too Human

After being in development for quite some time now, Silicon Knight's Too Human is finished and released on Xbox 360. Here are the First 10 Minutes in video form, starting at the same place where the demo ended. The game was massively hyped and talked-about, and the backlash created after the reviews hit was a strange thing to see. All in all though, Too Human is to me still a decent action game with some flaws.

Pure demo up on the Marketplace

Disney Interactive Studios have put together a demo for Pure, which just hit the Marketplace and will go online on PSN soon. What a demo! I've never thought four-wheeling could be so fun, but this is some good stuff. Great graphics, great sound, awesome gameplay. You'll see notifications on the screen, \"B lost\" etc - you do tricks, and then fill the meter in the right corner. The more it's filled, the more advance tricks you can do. We captured gameplay videos for those unable to download the demo, enjoy.

Behemoth's Castle Crashers was finally released last week on Xbox Live Arcade, and here's a couple of minutes from the level that comes next to the one in the trial version. The game is a blast co-op and features up to four players in this mode, while I captured this video with the help from a friend.

NHL 09 demo up on Marketplace

EA Sports decided for some (stupid) reason to release the Xbox 360 demo of NHL 09 long after the Playstation 3 demo, but it finally went online today. Here is a video from the it, showing a shoot-out and a bit of a match, while the Be A Pro mode also is playable. I haven't played '08 for some weeks now, but my initial impression is that game seems a little bit slower - slower skating, not so hard shots. I really like what they've done to the physics system, body contact is more realistic and the puck behaves better when it's bouncing around between players.

The First 10 Minutes: SoulCalibur IV

Here's a late one - SoulCalibur IV was released last month on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and here are finally the First 10 Minutes of the game. Since we've been busy with GC and everything, I haven't been able to play much - but I've enjoyed what I've played so far. The (huge) video shows fights where I change between two characters in Hard mode, and I guess it's obvious that the first character makes it easy to push out people from the stage.

Infinite Undiscovery: Day 2

As promised, here are three more gameplay videos of Infinite Undiscovery, showing this time some much more interesting gameplay and not just the glorified toturial of the first 90 minutes of the game. Personally I didn't expect to enjoy this game at all, being a much bigger fan of turn-based RPGs, but I've been surprised by the simple yet very complete gameplay of the game, making it seem almost like a real action title during fights, but with the actual RPG side never hiding far behind. It certainly isn't perfect, and quite a few things like the lack of voices during some cutscenes is jarring, but this game is well worth taking a long and hard look at.

At first announced as a Microsoft published title, Infinite Undiscovery will in the end be released this week, or even today, by Square-Enix. As usual I rushed to record the first 10 minutes of the game, and since this game is a RPG, and a quite complex one at that, many more will follow.
Update: Added 2 more videos. Another will follow this afternoon, and one last tonight or tomorrow.
Update 2: Last video for today added, more tomorrow!

It's a surprise for many people, but Viva Piņata: Trouble in Paradise will be released this week all around the world! As usual I'll never understand Microsoft's marketing teams, since the game is released at a great $40 price in the US, and at the more usual 60 euros in Europe. Joy. Anyway, even at full price this game is still excellent, at least if you like the genre and the design of course. And is you have a kid, the new coop mode is simply perfect!
