It's been quite a long time since our last first 10 minutes, and since a story heavy game like Heavenly Sword is most appropriate for these videos I bought the game on saturday. 2 more videos will follow during the week, along with my impressions.
Update: Second part is online, with a lot of not so precise Sixaxis gameplay.
Update3: Third and last part available.

Really? I found the AI pretty good, thye don't all rush, but attack sometimes on their own, sometimes in small groups. To each their own I guess.

Well I saw the video here in GS on the front page and I can say the AI seemed good, they did what they had to :P

But when it comes to AI, I have yet to see something surpass Ninja Gaidens AI, that is just insane, both game and difficaulty.

Non the less, I am hoping to pick up a PS3 in couple of months if possible, and Heavenly Sword is most definitely the one I will pick up.

360 just lacks as hell in this kind of genre, were it is set in ancient or fantasy world and you use your SWORDS or BLADES to kill them all.
Games like Heavenly Sword, Onimusha Dawn of Dreams and God of War makes me get this console, and I am sure that later on these kind of games will come more on PS3 like they did with PS2.

I just don't want to look at my 360 and think "well, I better pick a good gun because he comes SHOOTING" :P

Anyways, you guys with both 360 and Ps3 are lucky :)

Really like it although the framerate from time to time is kind of annoying makes me feel like I'm not totally in control sometimes. The shake the controller to do an aerial is kinda stupid, but I hear you can change that.

The AI at times seem like they're being careful and meticulous in their actions, but then other times (or most of the time) its like AI is shut off and they just walk around until 1 or 2 of them decide to attack. Pretty much with all that said AI I could really care less game looks great and I'm interested in the story, but they've got to fix the framerate it interferes with the enjoyment of the game and this game as far as I can see relys on nice framerate.

Even with the frame issues I may still buy it regardless as I planned for it to be my first ps3 title or I may hold off and getting next year while I play all the other games I'm waiting for this year not sure. Combat seems to be interesting though I like what they're trying to do with it.

From what i've seen on of the demo, NG combat blows this out the water, Enemy is HS never seem to attack in packs and the combat seems very samey, not much variety but that may be the player and not the game, we'll see.

Having said that i must say, the the facial animations are beyond anything thing i've seen before including Mass Effect, looks almost perfect.

I was going to say something along those lines as I agree. However, Mass Effect is a facial animation system that works real time with tens of thousands of lines of dialogue. The facial animation here is for a one off cutscenes.

Not to say it's not extremely impressive, just not the fairest of comparisons.

Well from what I can see the cutscenes are like actual game engine, but in video form so it runs flawlessly and they can make the facial animations look even better if they want.

Still really impressive and yea I agree comparing it to Mass Effect isn't really fair considering all the dialogue Mass Effect has to account for and the large variety of conversations that will take place in the game.

lol you know when i first saw the demo vid on the front page I thought oh man gonna download this video to check it out and then I realized "wait I have a ps3 I can just download the demo and play" lol :)

Fact that I practically never use it made me forget about it.
